Feature Weddings

We know it can be difficult when choosing your suppliers - how do you know that they have the experience your looking for? How can you tell if the pictures on their web site are actually theirs and the work they refer to is current? This is why we have designed the ‘Feature Wedding’ section on our web site - to help answer these questions and showcase a wee bit more of our work. We include the details of the event including the date so you can see our work is very current, and the pictures are consistent with all of our work throughout the site. To provide our customers with the extra reassurance, we also include as many testimonials as possible, we’ve even dedicated a page just to them to help demonstrate our consistency with nothing comparing to first hand experiences.

January 2010

On the 23rd January 2010 Balbirnie House Hotel in Glenrothes witnessed the elegant wedding of Roz and James.

We provided White Linen Chair Covers with Champagne Satin Sash for the ceremony and then reception, gorgeous silver candelabras with mirror bases and beautiful floral wreathes to complete the look.

Roz and James had clear idea’s on how they wanted to enhance the setting they had chosen. Having found childhood memories for Roz, Balbirnie House was providing the most most stunning of locations with very little needed in the way of transforming the rooms, instead it was all in the attention to detail.

“We will send you a gushing e-mail when we return from honeymoon but wanted tot ell you that everything looked amazing! I sobbed like a baby when I saw it ~ absolutely beautiful! The flowers were better than I could ever have imagined myself ~ there was nearly a rammy when I suggested that some guests could take them home ~ everyone wanted them!

I could not thank you enough for hard work and adding magic to our day.

On the 20th February 2010 The Piperdam Gold & Leisure Resort in Dundee became the fantastic venue for Mairi and Bruce to celebrate their wedding day with 180 of their closest family and friends.

After initially seeing our Giant Martini Vases at a local wedding fayre, Mairi chose White Chair Covers from our Snug Fit collection and enhanced these with navy organza sashes to coordinate with her bridesmaid outfits. As well as the Giant Martini Vases which we filled with yummy sweets supplied by the bride, Mairi also added trios of navy and pink balloons for the evening tables which were displayed around the room during the daytime adding to the enhancement of colourscheme and focal points.

“Hi just to say a big thank you for all the work you did last Saturday at Piperdam. Thought the place looked great. If by any chance you did take a photo i’d be very grateful for a copy as guess what.... by the time I had remembered most of the sweets had gone.

The newlyweds had a great time and are away on a fantastic honeymoon.

March 2010

The 20th March 2010 was the date and the fabulous newly refurbished Elgin Suite at the Keavil House Hotel was the setting for the beautiful wedding of Claire and Richard.

Claire chose White Chair Covers from our Snug Fit Collection and coordinated them with Teal Organza Sash which went perfectly with the new room decor. After concerns that the standard candelabra’s would look a wee bit lost in the room which has an emphasised tented ceiling, Claire added our Large Candelabra’s to complete the setting with coordinating table runners.

The styling didn’t end there and the bride and groom took advantage of our Large Chocolate Fountain to continue amazing their guests well into the night!

	April 2010 Arlene chose a hot pink and deep purple theme for her wedding on the 17th April at the Woodlands Hotel. Choosing to alternate the sashes to continue the theme from her tables to the ceremony chairs, the colour scheme added a touch of colour to the function suite making the setting very personal to the bride and groom. Hot pink and deep purple organza sashes graced our crisp white snug fit chair covers to complete the room decor perfectly.

		May 2010 Arlene chose a gorgeous purple theme for her wedding at the Kingswood Hotel and it looked beautiful. With stunning chair ties and chair linens, flowers by Viv at Dragonfly and co-ordinating stationery by the Bride & Groom the room wowed guests with ease. Seat Ties are becoming a very popular choice with brides looking for a slight twist tot he look of the chairs and a perfect option for satin and taffeta sashes. This gorgeous cadbury purple taffeta works great with a wide range of purple tones including lilac which was used in the accessories on the tables.
